１．旧版で作成したユーザデータ（履歴、しおり、マーカー）は、新版でも引き続き利用できます。
旧版を先に削除したり、新しいデバイスにインストールをしますとユーザデータは引き継がれません。
旧版のユーザデータが必要な場合は、現在動作されているバージョンのアプリとユーザデータの
バックアップをお願いします。
２．バージョン3.1.2から動作環境の変更がございます。
新バージョンから iOS の対象は iOS 4.3 以降が必須です。
アップデートすると、iPhone 3G 、iPod touch（第１/ 第２世代）の機種では使用できなく
なります。
これらの機種の方は、今後 AppStore からダウンロードができませんので、現在動作されている
バージョンのアプリとユーザデータ（履歴、しおり、マーカー）のバックアップをお願い致します。

The Genius dictionary was recommended to me, so I laid down the money even though its expensive. I am not impressed. First, it seems you can only jump to other dictionaries within the app using English words. None of the Japanese words in the definitions can be tapped on to do a jump to the other resources for further examination. As well, all of the audio excerpts included are only for the English words. You cannot search in Romaji, only in kana. I cant find any way to do a Kanji radical search or anything of the sort. It only has a basic word-input search and thats it. The definitions are elaborate and have very good example sentences, but there is no furigana for the Kanji, and since you cannot select Japanese words for jumping to definitions or other resources, there is little you can do when encountering unknown Kanji. The app also crashes when I attempt to jump to another dictionary for definitions. Ive heard the Wisdom dictionary is very good. Kotoba! is also good, especially for info on Kanji, and a lot of people recommend the app Japanese, though I havent tried it yet. Good luck.
英語の勉強のために購入したのですが、iPod Touch第1世代で発音が聞けません（イヤホン使ってです。）。iPhoneやiPod Touch第2世代でないと、音声再生できないという仕様なのでしょうか？OSはver2.2です。ざっと設定を探しても発音のON・OFFの設定は無かったです。もしiPod Touch第1世代で発音が聞けない仕様ならちょっとガッカリです。
iPhone 5 の画面に早く対応して欲しいです。
I had previously posted a review in reference to the Japanese to English translations by Genius and rated it at 1 star, but it was erased and so I post again. Unfair play... The Japanese to English translations were minimal in description and left me reverting back to my ptsWaeijiro, which often displayed a greater amount of definitions and examples. This app is user-friendly; however, content-wise, this version by Genius falls significantly short of the value endorsed by its price tag. If your dictionary queries are central to Japanese-to-English, then I highly suggest obtaining ptsWaeijiro for these needs, at a cost which is significantly lower. I hope Genius offers an upgrade of its content...
